An Ode To Alex

I don’t know if you heard or not, but Alex Gordon was activated off the disabled list earlier this week and returned to left field for the Kansas City Royals. Gordon is the Royals best player and in a lot of ways is the definition of what is right with the Royals. With that said, I figured I would celebrate his return with some Gordon highlights from over the years. If you are like me, you will fawn over every great play he makes; it’s just how it goes. It’s just Alex Gordon doing Alex Gordon things.

Welcome back, A1! I think I speak for a lot of fans by saying we’ve missed you these last six weeks. Let’s hope we aren’t seeing the last couple months of him in a Royals uniform. Let’s hope this is only the latest saga in a future Royals Hall of Fame career.
